Amended Caledonian Sleeper services on Sunday 31 August

Engineering work is taking place between Perth and Edinburgh, and also between Carstairs and Carlisle closing lines overnight from on Sunday night and Monday morning.

As a result, the following Caledonian Sleeper services (all starting from their origin on Sunday evening) will be retimed to start earlier or later than usual:

London to Scotland:

  • The 21:15 London Euston to Aberdeen service will depart at London Euston 20:20, and arrive at Aberdeen at 07:50
  • The 21:15 London Euston to Fort William service will depart at London Euston 20:20 and arrive at Fort William at 10:00
  • The 21:15 London Euston to Inverness service will depart at London Euston 20:20 and arrive at Inverness at 08:45
  • The 23:45 London Euston to Edinburgh service will depart at London Euston 21:30 and arrive at Edinburgh at 04:44 (you can stay on board until 08:00)
  • The 23:45 London Euston to Glasgow Central service will depart at London Euston 21:30 and arrive at Glasgow Central at 07:30 (you can stay on board until 08:00)

Scotland to London:

  • The 19:50 Fort William to London Euston service will depart at Fort William at 19:00 and arrive at London Euston at 08:45
  • The 20:26 Aberdeen to London Euston service will depart Aberdeen at 20:36 and arrive at London Euston at 08:45. This train is further diverted between Perth and Edinburgh, and will not call at Gleneagles, Dunblane, Stirling or Falkirk Grahamston. You should instead travel to Edinburgh to join the Caledonian Sleeper there
  • The 20:45 Inverness to London Euston service will depart Inverness at 20:25 and arrive at London Euston at 08:45
  • The 23:40 Edinburgh to London Euston service will depart Edinburgh at 23:25 and arrive at London Euston at 07:15
  • The 23:40 Glasgow Central to London Euston service will depart Glasgow Central at 21:45 and arrive at London Euston at 07:15. It will call at Motherwell at 22:03 and Carstairs at 22:23

None of these trains will call at Watford Junction, Crewe, Preston or Carlisle.
