Service Update

Glasgow Central station is currently closed while the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service deal with an ongoing incident. This remains an evolving situation.

Operating arrangements for Monday and Tuesday have been confirmed as detailed below.

Arrangements for the remainder of the week are still to be confirmed while the situation develops. Further updates will be issued as soon as additional information becomes available.

Monday 9 March 2026 & Tuesday 10 March 2026

Glasgow Central - London Euston 

Glasgow Central station is currently closed while the fire service deals with an ongoing incident.

As a result, tonight & tomorrow's service from Glasgow Central to London Euston will instead begin its journey from Edinburgh.

To help you reach the train, we have arranged complimentary travel with ScotRail from Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh on the following services:

• 21:15 – Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh (arrives 22:06)

• 21:45 – Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh (arrives 22:34)

• 22:15 – Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh (arrives 23:06)

Boarding in Edinburgh will begin at 22:30, and you will travel in your booked accommodation as planned.
The train will depart Edinburgh at 23:40.

Please simply show your Sleeper ticket to travel on these ScotRail services.

London Euston - Glasgow Central 

Glasgow Central station is currently closed while the fire service deals with an ongoing incident.

As a result, tonight & tomorrow's service from London Euston to Glasgow Central will instead end its journey in Edinburgh.

To help you get back to Glasgow, we have arranged complimentary travel with ScotRail from Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street:

• 07:30 – Edinburgh - Glasgow Queen Street (arrives 08:22)

• 07:45 – Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street (arrives 08:39)

• 08:00 – Edinburgh - Glasgow Queen Street (arrives 08:53)

• 08:15 – Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street (arrives 09:08)

• 08:30 – Edinburgh - Glasgow Queen Street (arrives 09:16)

Boarding and departure times are unaffected, and you may remain onboard in Edinburgh until 08:00
