Situated in the Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Arrochar is overlooked by the “Arrochar Alps” and marks the gateway to the Argyll Forest Park. Between Arrochar and Tarbet sits Tarbet Glen, an ancient battlefield where viking raiders would fight the Clan McFarlane.
Tarbet is located on the banks of Loch Lomond and is a popular boarding point for pleasure cruises on Loch Lomond.
